Introducing "Headshrunk": A blog for clients and clinicians

Welcome to my blog!

I'll be using this blog to announce new content, share my thoughts, and promote new resources.

Here are some of the things I will be (hopefully) working on:

Headshrunk: My blog on psychotherapy, life, and other musings. Psychotherapists--clinical psychologists among them--are often treated, and behave, as if we are the modern clergy. I plan to use this blog to talk a little bit of "inside baseball" on why we do what we do, and how we do it. Having some transparency can help demystify psychotherapy and psychotherapists, and lead to more genuine engagement between providers and consumers.

Shrink vs. App: A series where I review mental health apps from my perspective as a psychologist, in terms of their utility as self-help as well as an adjunct tool for psychotherapy.

Educational Resources: Articles and information for the general public about psychotherapy and mental health, in plain English. I currently have a first article up, on anxiety.

Hope you find the information useful!
